Japanese Grand Prix: Verstappen Wins, Red Bull Claims Constructors' Title

Polesitter Claims Victory

Max Verstappen led from start to finish at the Japanese Grand Prix, securing his second consecutive win and ninth of the season.

The Red Bull driver converted his pole position into an early lead, followed by teammate Sergio Perez, Lando Norris (McLaren), Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari). Sainz quickly overtook George Russell (Mercedes) for sixth place on the opening lap.

Verstappen dominated the race, building a 19-second lead over Norris by the race's conclusion. Norris finished second, followed by Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Sainz, and Russell.

Constructors' Title Secured

Verstappen's victory also sealed the constructors' title for Red Bull, their fifth in the hybrid era and second consecutive championship.

With four races remaining in the season, Red Bull has an unassailable lead over Ferrari and Mercedes in the constructors' standings.
